Hi Ladies .... I asked how you all wear your bracelet because I'm right handed. I'd like to wear a watch on my left wrist. I work full time typing, writing and using a computer mouse all day. If I wear mt TB bracelet on my right wrist I notice that my wrist actually starts to feel really stiff and achy. I think what's happening is that if I wear my bracelet on my right wrist I must be putting my hand in a uncomfortable position while typing & using the mouse. Wearing my bracelet is alot more confortable on my left hand, but like I said I would like to wear a watch on my left. I know some ladies wear their bracelet and watch together, but I prefer not to wear mine like that.... If anyone would have some recommendations I would appreciate it. I could not wear a watch, wear my TB on my left wrist, and use my cell phone to tell time .....any inputs ???? THANKS MUCH !!! |

I can wear my bracelet on left or right, doesn't bother me, but I do use my phone to tell the time. The C21 pocket watch . _________________ ~ big trip 2011 ~ |

The only time I wear a watch is when I'm traveling - and have to turn my cell off. So at those times I wear my Trollwatch. _________________ ~~~ Almost a year in the Land Under the Bridge and loving every minute of it. ~~~

I wear one bracelet on each wrist. I stopped wearing a watch years ago b/c I felt like I was constantly replacing batteries. I just use my cell for the time, leaves more room for Troll
I am right handed and I also work all day at a computer, it used to bother me to wear a bracelet on my right but not anymore. I guess I got used to it and I position my wrist so I am not smashing any beads (its just habit now) I only really get concerned with my stones, the metals and glass are pretty durable. |

I am right handed, wear a watch on my left wrist and troll bracelet(s) on my right. I work on computer and use mouse and write all day at work too; I take off my bracelet when I get to work and leave it on my desk to admire while I work. I do work at a small workplace so it is safe to leave it if I leave my office. _________________

| I am a righty and wear my bracelet on my left wrist because it bothers me to wear it on my right wrist when I write or type. I stopped wearing a watch a few years ago. I figure I have clocks at home & in the car and just look at my cell phone if I need to know the time when there's no clock around. |

I wouldn't like to wear a watch + bracelet on the same wrist. I try to avoid watches anyway as I don't like them. I prefer to think that time doesn't exist _________________ “ A journey of a thousand bracelets begins with a single trollbead. ” |

| I would definitely swap your watch to your right hand and your beads to the left. You might be setting yourself up for a nasty wrist tendonitis if you keep going the way you are. I learned to wear my watch on the "wrong" hand and it took almost no time at all to get used to it. |

Why not do what I do (and some others on the forum) and buy a watch face for your bracelet?! I change out the beads just like normal, but just put my watch in the middle. Here's a picture of mine:

As suggested you could switch your watch to your right wrist and wear your bracelet on the left wrist.
Or you could try a slightly longer bracelet. I like to wear my bracelet a bit loose and therefore I can shove it up the arm a little bit while typing. _________________ The only way out is through. Alanis Morissette |

Or you could do what I do and learn to use your mouse with your left hand. I did this years ago on advice from a colleague (although I'm right handed) because my right wrist was aching - apparently this is quite common because you have to stretch further to reach the mouse on that side because of the numeric keypad on the right. I was *very* sceptical but it seemed to solve the problem and it hasn't reoccurred. It took me a few weeks to get used to it but after that I could do anything with the mouse that I could before.
I wear a slim watch on my left wrist that doesn't seem to get in the way at all and it leaves my right wrist entirely free for beads |
