I tried to add this as a journal entry but its not working...
Mischievious little trollfairies have been about causing me trouble as of late. They have seeked me out and have been flying in my window late nights whispering tales of rare retireds and a small shop selling remaining gold stock at half off. It was a mad dash to the shop and I didn’t have long to think. I am glad I did not have enough time to talk myself out of it. I know I know...I am crazy…but in my defense I don’t use credit, I have been selling everything but the kitchen sink on that evil site…hmmm…anyone need a kitchen sink?!? I say, if it hasn't been touched in a year or more, it goes. I finally sold my gold dora bracelet I had been hanging onto…whats the point keeping it? Troll is my passion. So I am still running after that darn bead wagon. But since I have been so so bad lately, I decided I am going to put away my special beads until I get some things under control, like my spending among other things. They will be great incentives to get going on my goals and will be wonderful rewards for some good ole fashioned hard work…I want to totally and completly enjoy them with no feelings of guilt. Of course I will post piccy's of my new beads once they arrive before they get tucked away… |

I have washed dishes in he bathtub for three weeks, in various basins while camping and even on the edge of the bay in Canada. So no, you don't NEED a kitchen sink, it just makes the job easier. _________________ ~~~ Almost a year in the Land Under the Bridge and loving every minute of it. ~~~

Pesky pixies - but you are aptly nick-named and do have some amazing sources.
Speaking of kitchen sinks, I must tell an embarrassing tale about how much I have SPOILT my kids. Last year we went camping for the first time. The packing went well. Tent: check, sleeping bags:check, and so on. Then LilSil (aged 8!) remarks, "Mummy, we have just about everything we need to survive in the bush. But what about the dishwasher?" I opened her eyes to the old fashioned method after that wake-up call. _________________ ~ big trip 2011 ~ |

You are not alone Sil. I hear that one of the local boys' school's Year 5 camp list includes this gem "A tea towel, and please make sure your son knows how to use it." !
Good story TF, I enjoyed reading it. |
