Doing the Happy Dance!

Yesterday my LD held a Trollbead Party. They had ordered in a big bunch, plus consolidated what they had in OOAKs, Limited Releases and Retireds. My husband and I both went as we stopped in between going to other places. There was a nice selection of beads, refreshments and prizes. Much fun!

Well of course I had to buy a few beads. I had a couple of cheques come late from my big birthday so I had some money available to spend. There are some advantages to big birthdays! In any case I added a second peacock pearl, Triangles and a Desert Flower to my collection.

Well now the reason for the happy dance. This morning we had a phone call to say that my husband had won a prize. I was thinking it might be the gift certificate for the tanning place next door, which although lovely wasn't useful to us. He phoned and it was a leather bracelet. Yeah!! I did suggest that he could have it if he wanted one, but he said no way. So it is mine!

We did go to pick it up, but now that I am home I am thinking the smaller size might be better. So it has gone back into the bag until I talk with them tomorrow. Now that I have a few more beads and have my camera back in action I will include a pictures of the beads I have including the ones purchased yesterday. I think I have got the photo thing figured out.

And for anyone worried about the pearl drop beyond the stopper bead: I typically wear the drop on a necklace and quickly slipped it on the bracelet for picture taking purposes.

You have some of my favorite beads there. I'm sure you noticed how the design of Triangles matches the silver part of the pearl drop? Luv has made a very pretty necklace using two triangles, dark pearls and a pearl dangle such as yours.

You have added some very nice beads to your collection. So great that you won the leather bracelet. Your Desert flower will look very nice on there.
