Pronunciation

My local dealer has just discovered Ooaks (which is great for me !) but they pronounce it "Ooakies", which I thought was really funny.........until I found something on the net which said it should be pronounced "Ooakies" :?
Seeing as I only "talk" to you guys on line, maybe I have it wrong ?

The general concencus was 'oak'.

But it does say 'ooakie' on Fable.

Still makes me snurk :wink:

I prefer "oak" from which the little acorns (Trollbeads) fall, to grow into lovely trees (bracelets and necklaces). :wink:

I tend to say the whole thing too. I bet if you walked into some jewellers asking for oakies you would get some funny looks!

Technically - They are "Assorted Glass" hence our categories...
